Applications of Nitride bonded silicon carbide rollers include but are not limited to high temperature sintering belts of roller kilns such as domestic ceramics, ‌ sanitary ceramics, ‌ building ceramics, ‌ magnetic materials, ‌ and bearing structural frames of tunnel kilns, ‌ shuttle kilns, ‌ double roller kilns and other industrial kilns. ‌

Our Silicon Nitride Bonded Silicon Carbide Rollers are required to undergo laser testing for straightness before leaving the factory, and we retain the test data for each Nsic Roller. Each product will be tested by a standard flexural strength testing machine, and will be packaged and shipped to customers only after passing the test.

NSic Rollers' low thermal expansion coefficient (3.5–4.5×10⁻⁶/°C) and high thermal conductivity (15–25 W/m·K) enable stable operation at temperatures exceeding 1,400°C, significantly outperforming traditional alumina-based rollers. In the steel industry, NSic Rollers facilitate scale-free heat treatment of alloy sheets by maintaining structural integrity in corrosive atmospheres containing CO and sulfur compounds.

The unique interlocking microstructure of silicon nitride matrices reinforced with SiC grains provides remarkable resistance to thermal shock, a critical requirement in rapid cooling applications. This property, combined with a flexural strength exceeding 450 MPa, minimizes roller deformation during repeated thermal cycling. Recent adoption in solar panel manufacturing highlights their growing importance in renewable energy sectors, where they ensure precise silicon wafer positioning in diffusion furnaces.
